Hey gang,

I own a company that sources and sells custom embroidered logo furnishings and I'd like to explore the possibility of using one of these products to help raise funds for Kiva, either in the form of a raffle or donation drive within the Kiva Friends community.  I already approached Kiva about the idea and they were very appreciative of the offer. The purpose of this post is to see if there might enough interest to ensure it would be effective.  At this point I'm offering a black microfiber recliner with an embroidered Kiva logo in the headrest (approximate retail value $550).  To get an idea of what the product would look like you can visit www.globaldesignseating.com.  Would appreciate your feedback, concerns, suggestions, etc.

Seriously, I like the chair but wouldn't want it in my house with my 4 cats.

drrussel, I think thats a great idea and perhaps you can think of some other items that might appeal to anyone here on Kiva Friends where your company can use its embroidery talents....what I like most of all is that you arent appealing to us by offering up Kiva-esque products, but also using the funds raised to administer to Kiva's needs...so Im all for it...I actually need a nice comfy chair for my desk...whats the plan for this one?  buying tickets?

What other items can you offer?  My 2 cents says, lots of potential with your idea.
