Repeat borrower, Mildred Garcia!

(This is her fourth loan.  Some of us have been with her for every or most of her previous loans.  She is someone who touches our hearts, so we are glad we found her once again.)

http://admin.kiva.org/lend/343990

"Through the income from her business, Mildred is able to provide the medication for her eldest child who is suffering from lupus, a chronic auto-immune disease that can be fatal. She prays that they can prevail in their struggle and that her child will be cured. She loves her family and becomes teary- eyed whenever she remembers her child's sickness. According to Mildred, her child is strongly fighting her sickness, and this gives her the strength to overcome it."

Yelena from Ukraine is back for another round of inventory financing!  She is the one whose grandson was described, in prior loan write-ups, as having leukemia.  But this time, the MFI says the grandson, Misha, is "going through oncological rehabilitation," which I hope may mean he is beating his cancer!  Here is the link to Yelena's new loan:  http://www.kiva.org/lend/348644

I hope it is a trend, but in any event HOPE Congo SA actual posts Bertin's previous loan in this loan write-up.

http://www.kiva.org/lend/352073

It is actually the third loan on Kiva and we have been able to participate in all three.

It does look like a trend, see http://www.kiva.org/lend/356045
It is even noted that the picture is from his previous loan.

Actually the nice thing was that I received a status update email with "Laurd is taking out another loan on Kiva". Is this also a new feature or just because it's a status update?

New feature, and I am so glad to finally see it implemented.

Tserendorj is a-39-year-old married man who lives with his family in a Mongolian traditional felt tent – ger -- in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The tent is in his brother’s plot of land on outer ger district, and does not have basic infrastructure.  Both of his son and daughter attend local secondary school while their mother works as a teacher at kindergarten.

Tserendorj supports his family by operating a hand made art business for more than ten years. He makes traditional Mongolian masks from paper, horse whip from silver and saddle from wood. Currently, he plans to make a whip, but his silver isn’t enough. Also this is his second Kiva loan and now he is requesting a 2.100.000 Mongolian Tugriks (MNT) loan to purchase necessary 1.116 gr. silver.

Current loan is here:  http://www.kiva.org/lend/390292
Previous loan (with which he bought silver for decorating a custom saddle) can be reviewed through a link in the current loan's write-up.
