Starting Tuesday, October 23rd, the vote for Community Crusader will begin on CNN Heroes: Ordinary people, extraordinary achievements.  There are six categories of heroes and the winner of each category will be honored.

"CNN Heroes culminates in a live global broadcast from the American Museum of Natural History in New York on Thursday, December 6 at 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT, 2 a.m. Dec. 7 GMT, 10 a.m. Dec. 7 HKT).

"CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute" -- hosted by CNN's Anderson Cooper with Christiane Amanpour -- honors the most outstanding viewer-nominated CNN Heroes as chosen by a blue-ribbon panel of world leaders and luminaries."

Matt and Jessica are included in this group representing Kiva in the Community Crusader category.

according to here..
http://edition.cnn.com/SPECIALS/2007/cnn.heroes/legal.html

the category winners get through to the final, there's just one overall winner

trust me to read the small-print  Tongue

Here's CNN's video for their 'heroes' entry: http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/specials/2007/05/24/heroes.the.flannerys.cnn

The donation figure is way off though.

I just voted, but they're not going to win with just 4% of the vote. Josh Sundquist has 51% - no doubt because he's working hard at stuffing the ballot box:

"To vote, just put a checkbox beside my name and click "Vote." To vote again, just click "reload" in your browser. NOTE: It takes about 15 minutes for your votes to show up in the vote tallies. But don't worry, they all get counted!"

And that's the trouble with these online polls....
