I'd like to have Japanese forum (version) of kivafriends.org as well as, a Japanese site explaining Kiva.

Have you ever considered adding language specific forum on kivafriends.org?

Me and My friends on Mixi (sns service) are trying to do something about it, but the only answer from Kiva hq was that they don't have enough capacity on their server right now - so maybe some day... :-(

For now - I'm trying to put on the web some contents that would help with register process etc on Kiva - it's all here:

http://takasia.sakura.ne.jp

Not much still, but I7ve we just started :-)

Of cource, this is no more than just a privet site with some info on it - Kiva.jp is needed here, in Japan - really.

Socialprenuer, your best bet would be to contact Joe, the creator of this forum.

Many of us have discussed the availability of Kiva in other languages, and for the most part we all support it in theory...but there becomes a dilemma when translating each loan request because they come and go so quickly...Kiva would basically require some additional workers to translate the loan pages that come and go every single day...but as for hard or static pages...I think it would be rather simple to have volunteers translate these pages and Kiva can just upload the work into their programming and simply tie it in to language links...that in itself would not tie down the servers.  But we have contacted them numerous times over the last 6 months or more concerning this and its not at all a priority right now...so if you plan on offering an alternative site in another language devoted to teaching and informing of Kiva, then by all means make it happen...Kiva is becoming incredibly internationalized, as well it should be.  Thanks for your efforts and enthusiasm and let us know if there is any assistance we can offer.  There may be a few Japanese speakers around here somewhere if you need their assistance.

Japan has the potential to be a huge player in Kiva and I hope because of that, they in time do the best they can to reach out to the people there.

Heres the perfect thread for you if you hadnt accessed it already:

I find not direction in the readings of those with whom my eccentricities are similar, but rather validation.

My only solace is that I find a peaceful place where I might be resigned to my depriving loneliness.

Thanks guys, and it's nice to see another Japanese here.

I don't intend to suggest KIVA to be available in Japanese. But at least to have a user forum.
