I, too, am thrilled to hear from you!  I always enjoyed "following you around" as you moved from place to place--and now, I had someplace new to look up, because I've never heard of Coarsegold, CA!  Yosemite is one of my favorite places anywhere, though!

HI to all of you   ,  have to say that i am enjoying this more and more each day but like Laurie,  have to call time limits as it hurts my back and shoulders to sit here at the computer for great lengths of time ,  also,  it brings a smile to my face to see the little smilers on the letters,  thanks for such fun.

Kay, I did NOT go to the tarantula festival - didn't even know about it!  We are working our way over to Bisbee, Arizona, with a stop at Catalina State Park in Tucson, AZ, on the way - a place where I have seen tarantulas more than once.  If you are not spider-squeamish, they are quite interesting.     I also have seen a Gila Monster there (and did NOT have my camera with me - can't believe it) and a family of 4 coatimundi, which I was able to capture digitally from afar.

Guess I should check Wikipedia for info on other towns on our route!
