Why do searches of SEDA, Microfinanzas PRISMA's and Indonesia DINARI Foundation's also came up? No big deal but still minor irritation.

Keds, maybe you know this..I know it probably always varies and quite a bit at that, but how long does it seem to be taking to officially join forces with an MFI from the time they are assigned these ID #s

and where do you find the ID # information?  Thank you.

Steve:

The time it takes to start seeing loans appear from an MFI varies. There are some MFIs which have been hanging around for months and have never had a loan appear on Kiva (i.e. Annesha Foundation in Bangladesh or Somaiya Group in India.)

The way that I find these upcoming MFIs is the same way people look ahead at upcoming loans that have not appeared on the loan page yet.  In the example of the link below

http://www.kiva.org/about/aboutPartner?id=101

notice the 101 hanging out at the end of the address. Each MFI has a different ID number. In this example, the MFI with the ID 101 is the latest MFI to be assigned an ID, Zene za Zene of Bosnia. Tomorrow, I will navigate to the web page for any of the MFIs and simply change the ID number at the end of the address to 102 to see if any new MFI has been assigned ID #102. And that is how I find the latest MFI to be assigned an ID number.

I hope that I have explained that well enough to understand. If not, let me know and I will try to come up with a different way to explain it.

Thanks

KEDS

KEDS,

it's perfectly clear how you're doing that...thanks for doing it!

Unfortunately, this "pre-viewing" does not work for loans anymore...or am I mistaken?
