You are welcome.  I have found it very interesting to go to the beginning and read about Kiva's development through his writings.  I have developed an appreciation for the process that they went through to get Kiva to where it is today.

I just came across this update from Matt. Thanks, stubear!

He is referring to a lender, that I had already seen on several loans: Laurent from Brussels:

"We have a donor -- Laurent Drion of Brussels -- who makes sure that lack of cameras are no excuse.  Laurent, a venture capitalist, started one of the biggest Macintosh distribution businesses in Belgium.  The man moves consumer electronics  -- now to Africa.    Thank you Laurent."

I am pretty sure it is this lender: http://www.kiva.org/lender/laurent5933, who is funding at an extremely high rate PLUS funding high amounts at times. I had always wondered who that was...now we know a little better... Smiley
