Since we are fast approaching the final month of the year, a random thought entered my head...are there any plans or ideas rolling around out there about what Kiva Friends might do to celebrate its first year?  Any ideas or suggestions, please post here.  (Keeping with the birthday theme, let me also note here that Fiona's birthday is 12/5 and Joe's is 12/9, so keep them in your thoughts).

It would be wonderful if we could somehow contribute to twelve loans, wouldn't it? I'm still relatively new to Kiva Friends; do we have a lender account of our own? Could we establish one?

By the way, Steve, my husband is a Jain, so I'm familiar with the concept of ahimsa. It makes me smile when I see your name.  Smiley

Yes KF does have an account for itself, for the forum...Joe the Administrator and creator of the site runs the account...

So far there are 20 loans contributed to by KF, and I think thats a terrific idea you present, one loan for each month of the year...a great birthday present to both celebrate for ourselves, and help a few others help themselves.  Anyone else like the idea, or have more of your own...please share...
