I agree with Diane, please reverse it so we can see all lenders on any given loan.
I don't mind clicking to see the teams but please don't limit the lenders.
Charmaine
I agree with Diane, Charmaine, and all others who have expressed this opinion. Please leave all the lenders visible.

Maybe Kiva heard us. On the loans I am pulling up now I am seeing all lenders again, like this Showing 73 of 73 lenders to this borrower More ↓Maybe we are supposed to click "More ↓" on expiring loans, to get even more lenders than there currently are on the loan...

I see that now, too, David! I hope it sticks.
When you click the "More ↓" now, "Showing 73 of 73 lenders to this borrower" changes to "73 lenders to this borrower". Leftover wording I suppose (and leftover sneaky-down-arrow).

One thing I noticed for the first time today was that if I comment on a loan update, nobody can see it (except if they go to add a comment themselves). I swear that didn't used to be the case. Does anybody happen to know if it was or not? This particular case was a Spanish update for a loan in Ecuador that I'm on. The borrower had experienced a delay in making one of her repayments because she'd gotten sick. I wanted to provide a quick translation in English for the benefit of my fellow lenders. It's a bit annoying that the comment doesn't seem to be visible except if someone decides to add a comment themselves. I'm wondering whether it's a bug or deliberate and, if it is deliberate, who then are the comments meant for? The MFIs?

Yeah, as far as I remember you could see other peoples comments whether or not you made a comment. I used to post some translations too. I don't know why they would take that capability away...
...
And- I think they should show all the lenders also - or at least way more than 15. If they have to limit it, maybe 40-60 would be a better number. Although I also do a quick scroll down loans to see if I'm already on there, so I like having all the lenders directly visible. But if they are going to limit it, it should at least affect fewer loans. Listing 40 lenders would cover loans up to $1,000, or 60 would be up to $1,500. I still haven't gotten used to having to click for the repayment schedule, although to me that is less of an issue, because there aren't people involved.

I don't mind seeing only 15 lenders, but if all are shown (too much scrolling on large loans when all are shown), I would also like to see all teams.

Thank goodness you seem to recall comments being visible too charity. I was starting to wonder whether I wasn't going mad! I started off convinced that they used to be visible but then wasn't quite so sure. By late last night I was starting to think maybe they had never been visible after all. I suspect they probably stopped displaying when Kiva created those 'loan updates' and 'repayment schedule' tabs up above the borrowers' photographs. Ah well, I guess in future if I see any such loan updates I'll just do a quick check to see if there are any Kiva friends I recognize and message them directly.
Oh FWIW, I really like seeing all the lender photos.

Now that the payment schedule has been put on a separate page, there really isn't any reason to go to the bottom of the basic loan page, unless you want to see the lenders. So I don't think the "too much scrolling" objection really applies any more. I would rather see all of the lenders displayed; I agree with Diane's rationales on this.

Maybe it is my firewalls on my work computer but I no longer can see ANY LENDERS and no longer see the TEAMS. I really miss both. Sigh. I don't even get a "more" arrow. There is a small notation of letters bb aa where they used to be. Nothing else and no way to see anything else. It used to work fine.

I saw exactly the same thing last night when accessing the Kiva site using my smartphone. I don't see it on my home computer, though. --Diane.
