We joined Kiva.org in June of 2007, our family is part from Ukraine in E. Europe.  Ukraine has gone through many changes since 1991, not all good unfortunately.  But people in UA are hardworking and most want to become part of Europe and live well.  For this reason we choose to help people in Ukraine so that prosperity bring freedom for Ukraine.

Welcome, Ukraina Dvi.  In another thread here you can see all sorts of others who have introduced themselves as well.  It is found here:

Our loan portfolio currently has more loans in Ukraine than any other country, because we are very interested in what develops there.

I must write and say you are most welcome - I find Ukraine and its people a diamond in the rough here in Europe.  I have had the pleasure to work on a cople ofprojects in your country and are smitten - hence every time I have a chance to fund a Ukraine her I leap at the chance.

All the best for your New Year and Christams coming up Smiley
