Let's see if we can come up with enough people (KIVA Friends) to pull this off.   

Here is the idea...

Gather 12-24 KIVA Friends to make either one or two quilt squares(block) at least 1/2 of the 24 squares to have a 'kiva related' theme.  (I call the logo!)

once we have enough participants we decide:
  color scheme
  fabric choices and how to get the fabric (supplied by us or everyone shop individual)
  size of each block
  time frame to complete blocks
  find out interest from KIVAFriends to determine Raffle price
  prepare photos of a few layouts and select final design layout of blocks
  finish quilt
  Let KIVAFriends determine where any extra money is distributed

Raffle!

Um, as long as newbies to quilting are allowed to participate, I'm in!  Although it will drastically affect my KF time.

I can tentatively commit to provide one.  I just have some unhappy memories associated with a couple group quilt projects in the past which I will need to purge so I can start afresh.

I am hoping for much renewal with the close of this year.

There will be plenty of time to make your blocks, we can have the quilt raffle in June or July, no rush!!!
