21 minute video of Jessica speaking at Pop!Tech** in Maine, October 2007

http://www.poptech.com/popcasts/?viewcastid=152

Includes near the beginning an extended clip from the Oprah feature on Kiva, as a kind of Kiva 101, and then Jessica takes the audience through it in more detail. Her enthusiasm and commitment shines through every word...

** from the Pop!Tech "About":
Quote
Pop!Tech is a one-of-a-kind conference, a community of remarkable people, and an ongoing conversation about science, technology and the future of ideas.

Every October, in the beautiful seaside village of Camden, Maine, at the height of the fall foliage season, there is a one-of-a-kind conference called Pop!Tech.

Held in a beautifully restored, 19th-century opera house, this three-day summit explores the cutting-edge ideas, emerging technologies and new forces of change that are shaping our collective future. The conference brings together 500 visionary thinkers in the sciences, technology, business, design, the arts, education, government and culture.

Thanks Peter, just watched the video...dont know how we missed that one, it was pretty lengthy... and informative for newcomers, but glad you posted the info.  It also allowed me to see part of the Oprah airing for the first time...I never seem to catch that.

What I found compelling was her suggestion that these entrepreneurs being aware of who is loaning to them, from where, and how, goes a long way to holding everyone accountable and gives them encouragment and a greater degree of drive towards succeeding.
