This is a bit different and won't change the world, but I do love it.  Having just watched it again and found that one single tear traveling down my cheek past my smile, I thought I'd take a chance and share it with you all, if you haven't seen it already.

This was a Master's Thesis for an Animation degree for its creator (details and links in the "(more)" section in the upper right of the youtube page). A testament to the power of determination to make one's dream come true, even if only for a brief shining moment.

That was the cutest thing Diane...I felt like I was watching "Ice Age," one of the most popular and successful animated movies of all time.

Any Western/Indian/Wild West/Frontier lovers--I watched John Wayne's, "The Searchers" three times in the last week.  It's one of the most recommended Western's and one of his best films of all time.

I find not direction in the readings of those with whom my eccentricities are similar, but rather validation.

My only solace is that I find a peaceful place where I might be resigned to my depriving loneliness.

Eventually using items like a cell phone or Ipod as big screen tv projectors once they integrate the technology and lose the battery for preference of the power source being provided from a plugged in cell phone.  It would be like having a big screen tv in your pocket.

I just went to see the movie, The Kite Runner.  [/i]

Hi Jill, happened across one of my loans and after reading a comment, found a lender who was involved in the making of "The Kite Runner" as a digital exec.  Not much on his lender page, but thought you might like to know.

Tyson  Cool

Tyson is extremely cool. He is a self taught skateboarder and has appeared on numerous TV shows (including Oprah!) and even has his own website!

A couple videos from the TED conference... I subscribe to their video podcast and they have simply amazing presentations.

Hans Rosling talking about the developing world in these two presentations. I just love his data visualization, you can mess around with it on his page - www.gapminder.org

and

Richard Dawkins on the strangeness of the universe:

Ending with a possibly controversial one, but definitely a must-watch for the atheists amongst us Wink
