Good to be in good, tealoving company! Drinks

I can imagine it is not so easy to know how many dollars we will raise in the end for Florence's school.

I don't know if there is any way of knowing if there have already been 30.000 reviews written. (Only the first 30.000 count for this promotion)

Even if we get paid for all the written reviews the money might not be there before the 24th of January.

The money wont be available until mid to late February, so I am donating whatever we make up front in order to make the jan 24 deadline.

Also the promotion ends if they reach 30k qualifying reviews.   Hope that helps Smiley

As much as I talk about coffee, I never talk about tea, but I love it as much as I do a good cup of fair trade, organic.  Yogi is a favorite, and the Traditional Medicinals are excellent when you need them, I make my own chai pretty frequently too.  Mmmm, think today is a tea day!

Your tempting me as well.  Triple Echinachea is good to, along with Super Green Tea...two flavors Im not fond of at all are Hibiscus and Detox made with Oragnic Dandelion, but Hibiscus takes the cake as worst of all.

Based on Diane stating that she will be wrapping up donation collections for Florence this week, the epinions reviews for Florence will culminate on Sunday, Jan 20th.  They seem to have peaked out at about 47 reviews, which is still $47 she didnt have before.  It's more than half the cost for a new sowing machine, something that will get a whole lot of use from dozens, if not hundreds of students in the future.

Reviews can still be left until Jan 31st for another cause, such as Kenya's MFI that responded to us recently.

Thanks everyone for their efforts, every little bit helps  Thumbs Up  Four days remaining, maybe we can add just a couple more.

When the 20th has come and gone, feel free to PM Diane to verify that the amount collected for Florence through epinions was sent to her by me.
Thanks again all.

Just in case anyone feels inspired to write some more reviews on epinions.com:

A new month has started, and Epinions.com has the same promotional offer again of ten dollars for every ten reviews written.

Submit 10 reviews to Epinions.com beginning February 1, 2008 (12:01 AM Pacific time) and receive $10. An additional $10 will be awarded for every 10 reviews rated "very helpful." The Promotion is valid until the first 30,000 reviews are received or until February 29, 2008 (11:59 PM Pacific time), which ever comes first.

Maybe we can raise some money for Kenya this time?

If anyone else is willing to complete some quick write ups, then I think thats a great way to use any collected funds Tatiana, so I second that.  Unfortunately Ill be on vacation for a couple weeks in Feb. so I wont have much time to contribute myself.

The first review for February is there. I have the feeling you did a big part of January's reviews Steve, but hopefully we manage to earn some money without your help as well.

Enjoy your holiday. Are there any mountains involved again?

BTW I still have not received money from January through epinions.  I did note that others who contributed Dec reviews, received their funds on the 17th of the following month, so Im not worrying until after the third week in Feb.  But I wanted to put that out there in case epinions slights us for some reason.  No need to worry about the funds though because I covered them all in the donation to Florence--so in addition to my own donation, $45 (45 of the 47 reviews qualified), was donated to Florence through the epinions work from myself.

Since I wont be around nearly as much starting next week and through the latter days of February, Id like to pretty much have someone else take the lead on any epinions work that is directed towards Kenya relief, since I wont have consistent access to the internet.
