I am interested in starting a nonprofit organization that would help provide food to people in Africa. If anyone has any information on how to start a nonprofit organization in an international level please respond! I am interested in knowing if a lot of money is required to start a nonprofit and the general first steps in starting a nonprofit organization of this kind. Also if anyone knows of a good website or place to get information about this please let me know. Thank you!

To just become a nonprofit, it costs a few hundred bucks.  You can find a set of steps here.  I think your larger costs lie outside of this, paying for other expenses such as logistics, travel, and consultants (lawyers, tax advisers) should you need them.

What is prompting you to start a nonprofit?  Have you checked around to see if one with similar goals already exists?
