Can someone please help, I CAN figure out how to be a lender no problem, but HOW do I become borrower. I must be missing something?

Sorry, but nope, you're not missing anything.  Kiva lends through Field Partners in developing countries to the working poor.

The working poor? Aren't we all poor? If your not part of the world's bank, and the IMF, we are all in debt and working poor. Paper money is a debt instrument (this cannot be argued). Anyway, thanks for your response, and i sent an email to a partner in north america and am waiting a response.

Kiva does not give loans to people in the U.S. If you want to borrow money in a peer to peer lending situation try Prosper.com or other similar sites.
