For all the July 4thers out there!

I find not direction in the readings of those with whom my eccentricities are similar, but rather validation.

My only solace is that I find a peaceful place where I might be resigned to my depriving loneliness.

Celebrating the release of Newfoundland band Great Big Sea's newest CD "Fortune's Favour":

Next, Vienna Teng's beautiful song "City Hall":

And finally (for now), a truly international love song ([only] starting off in German and with quite a lot of German banter [sorry]):
Liebeslied by Bodo Wartke (warning, it's a long one)

Take care, Wolfgang.

SOS Within a couple of days after I upgraded Firefox, I wasn't able to see most of the audio/video links on this site.  I even uninstalled the Flash Block add-on but I'm still not seeing the links. Is there a setting I need to change in Firefox Applications or do I need to upgrade something?         Or am I banned from seeing the fun stuff?  Laugh

Which upgrade? I'd say that if you are not yet on Firefox 3.0, try upgrading to that. I'm using it on both MacOSX and WindowsXP and it is working perfectly with KivaFriends.org.

If you are already on 3.0.. then... er... um.... I have to go to the bathroom.

Hm, don't know if this will help, Margie, but maybe you have some Script-Blocker (like NoScript) or an Ad-Blocker installed? If this is the case, you will have to permit "www.youtube.com" to see most of the videos.

Maybe check if you can access any videos on http://www.youtube.com?

Take care,
Wolfgang.

Thanks Wolfgang for the advice.  I am able to view videos on the youtube site.  I only seem to have the problems on this site.  Never had a problem until a couple of days after upgrading firefox and I haven't changed any settings. (I don't like messing with anything tech related!) I'm thinking that it may have to do with my application default settings although I have no idea what needs to be changed!  I wondering if anyone else has had the same thing happen with the upgrade.  Just hoping it's an easy fix...

Hi Margie,
What you are experiencing is why I always wait a while before downloading new updates. Give them a little while to clear up all the bugs!!
If it's a big deal you can always do a System Restore to take you back a few days when everything was working A-OK.
If you have anymore questions, see Scott!! Smiley  He's the computer Whiz Kid  Laugh Laugh
