In honor of Mother's Day, a song by a Russian band named Lyube.  I don't know much of what he's saying but the chorus is "forgive me, Mama".

Okay, my attempt to embed didn't work so I'll just link.  =)

Cheesy    Thumbs Up

I love the facial expressions on the judges, and when the guy backstage says, "Is that the tape, or is that him?" (@ 0:51 on the video)

I wonder if this is his usual singing voice, or if this was a one-off to get through to the main competition?

He says he's a male soprano (around 2:45), so I guess it's his usual singing voice.

Why has it always to be "Nessun dorma", by the way? In this case it was - IMHO - completely inappropriate for it's a tenor aria from a time where countertenors/male sopranos were seriously "out".

There are so many stunning countertenor/castrato pieces out there, for example Händel's "Ombra mai fù", here sung by German countertenor Andreas Scholl:

Best wishes,
Wolfgang.

Ah, then the audience is likely to hear more acceptable pieces from young Greg Pritchard as the competition continues.  Very cool, thanks!

An elderly couple walked into the lobby of the Mayo Clinic and spotted a piano.
They've been married for 62 years and he'll be 90 this year.

It's all in the attitude.
Enjoy!!
