Hi there.  New here to the forum.  I just purchased 4 gift certificates for my friends.  I am at my friend's house now.  When purchasing, I was hoping to print the certificates (give them to my friends tonight).  So, I removed the check from the box that would have sent them the info via email.

I went to print them and my friends printer isn't working!  I have no way to go back and put that check in the email box.... I don't know if I log out if I will be able to print the certificates from home when I get there later.  Sigh.  So, I sent an email to help, but it suggests coming here and asking what to do.  Can anyone hlep me?  Thanks so much.  I feel so bad.  This was supposed to be a gift for them tonight and now nada.  Sad

If you log into your own account, you will find a section in My Portfolio called Gift Certificates.  If you click on that link, you will see all the GCs you've bought, and information on when/by whom they were redeemed (if they've been redeemed).  That table will also show you the Amount each is for, and most importantly the CODE you need to redeem them.  You can write down the code, sign out of your account and into your friends, and have them use that code along with your email to redeem the certificates into their account for Kiva Credit.

It works!  Smiley

(And yes, if you want to print the certificate later from home, rather than have them use the codes now, you may do that!)

Hope this helps,
--Diane.

Thank you!  I have decided to give Kiva gift certificates as gifts.  Wanted to give them to my wine tasting buddies, but now will wait till next month.  Everyone thinks they are the BEST gifts.  So do I.

thanx again.
