Subject : Identifying oneself as a "KivaFriend"


This is just a reminder to those who may wish to identify themselves as KivaFriends

If you are a member of KivaFriends.org and wish to identify yourself as "KivaFriends" on the Borrowers' pages to whom you have made loans, you can do so by:

a) Logging onto Kiva.org
b) Going to "My Portfolio"
c) Clicking on "My Account" on the left hand side of the page
d) Inserting in the block, "City" : http://www.kivafriends.org

And if you wish to identify your City and State/Province then, in the block "State/Province", insert : yourcity, yourstate/province.

Note : If you wish to do this, you're encouraged to do so as it will help give KivaFriends a higher profile, encourage growth in KivaFriends membership and promote increased participation in the discussion forums by Kiva Lenders in general.

I tired myself out searching for help on this the other night,
so maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

I know I have successfully posted YouTube clips in my
messages -- the ones where you just have to click on
the image instead of a link, so you can watch the
clip within the opened tab -- but the other day it
just was not working for me.

I thought I had it going, because I'd preview my message
and the YouTube image was there, but in the actual
thread, the link was there instead.

What am I missing and is there a post somewhere that
explains what I should do?

All I do is just post the link, although it does seem to be taking a little extra time to show up lately (must be hobgoblins!).

Hi Ann,

I have experienced this "problem", too, when there have already been posted several youtube-videos to the same page. Seems like 12 may be the limit... see: http://www.kivafriends.org/index.php/topic,2562.0.html - the 13th and all following videos are only shown as links.

Maybe that is the reason in your case, too?
