Are you a teacher and interested in Kiva and microfinance loans? Do you need funding and educational materials? Check out kiva-kids.org  The Kennesaw State University Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) student organization, has come up with a project that answers all of your needs.  We will give you and your class $25 and teaching materials for you only to participate in our project.

Andrew, James Maina mentioned in his post that Ebony Foundation has a partnership with Kennesaw University whereby the university is helping with training Kenyan entrepreneurs. Are you involved with this?

I am not involved in that project; however, I am aware of the project. Would you like to contact someone to get involved or just wondering?

Just wondering. I noticed Kennesaw mentioned in two successive posts, and was curious.

Attached is a flier that can be used if anyone is interested in spreading our project in your local school system.

Through project funding and sponsoring, we can make available $25 a class for teachers and their class who want to participate in Kiva and the vast benefits of participating in it.  We can also provide educational material to those who sign up and any additional support needed as well.  Simply go to Kiva-Kids.org to do so.

Don't forget the attachment.

In case you haven't heard of this project: Kiva-Kids.org is a Kennesaw State University Students In Free Enterprise (SIFE) project where we make available $25 for teachers and their students to participate in Kiva. We let teachers and their class have access to $25 per class, teaching materials, and any other support needed for the teacher and their classes. Check out our flier (attached) and our website at Kiva-Kids.org.

Thank you for you support in Kiva.
