Diane, most people give fake information to these types of inconsequential account signups. I have never given my real birthdate, name or address to anything other than my online bank or other service providers I know and trust. Even then, I have only ever given my real birthdate to my bank.

The idea that MSN needs this info is laughable. They only want you to create an account so that they can track your searches and provide you with targeted advertising. I would advise to never give details this personal to an account which is just for fun. Especially given the growing occurrences of company's servers being hacked or harddrives of personal data stolen. Just make something up.

It's also advisable to create a free gmail/yahoo/hotmail email address that you just use for this kind of thing- so that you won't get spam to your MAIN email address.

Yes, a little paranoid, but with good reason (oh the stories I could tell!).  Cheesy

Additionally to what Sherri said, you could also use an e-mail "account" from www.mailinator.com

It's great to sign up for sites where you don't want to hear from again. You make up an e-mail address of your choice and just enter that in the form. Then you go to mailinator and type in the address you used and you can access the e-mails sent to it. Of course that means so can everyone else, so never use it for things that contain personal information... but it's nice for registrations like this Wink

I'll bet, Sherri...
Anyway, having a bit of trouble with the MSN site. Not giving me the points at the end of the game. It claims that there is "no connection to the server" (NOT true) and the points I've won revert back to "zero".
So, if you decide not to participate, I can't say I blame you.

I want to let everyone know that there is a new geography/triva game on live search club called Matt Lauer. IT IS AN INCREDIBLY FAST WAY TO EARN MONEY! Each game is worth 20 cents(if you get them all right) and it only consists of 4 questions. I can litterly play the game in less then 2 minutes and that is if I think about the answers. This is a reminder to go play and earn money for kiva. I don't have the money to donate so this is how I give my 10% of each loan plus some. It is a great alternative for those who have only enough to lend.  Smiley

For some reasons I always have troubles with my microsoft passport. But today I finally managed to log in. Indeed this Matt Lauer game is great fun and it goes incredably fast! Only today I earned over $10 for Kiva. I am not allowed to continue today, but count on me to come back tomorrow Smiley

There aren't many questions for this game. I went through them ALL over a week ago. They haven't added any new ones.  Angry  I'm not allowed to play this game anymore because I've done them all.
BAD organization...no updates to the site!
