Hello, I was recently informed of a Kiva Awareness Bike Tour (From the Pacific Coast of Canada to Mexico) that was going to be taking place this summer. Can anyone provide me with more information about this tour?
I am currently planning a similar tour but in Europe and would like to get some suggestions and volunteers interested in assisting me plan this awareness campaign.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.
Best Regards,
Javier

Thanks for the information!
I have sent an email to Agents Of Change and asked for some more details about their "Riding To Break The Cycle" campaign.
I am currently planning a similar campaign and I am in the planning phase of this process. I am currently located in Copenhagen, Denmark and over the course of the next year hope to organize an enormous European Kiva Awareness Bike Campaign. If anyone is interested in volunteering or can suggest possible sponsorship... Please don't hesitate to contact me!
I will have a webpage up in the next few weeks and will keep everyone posted.
Best Regards,
Javier

My only solace is that I find a peaceful place where I might be resigned to my depriving loneliness.

Never did hear from you Javier...and just found this posting as someone linked to our site and I tracked it back! We are ALSO running a Euro route in 2009, in addition to Mexico...sounds like we should definitely chat!

We're HOME! Another amazing year fro Riding to Break the Cycle. Check out the blog for all the stories and lots of pics...this team of youth raised about $80,000 this year, most of it to be directed to Kiva loans! Shawn www.globalafc.org/blog

Thanks everybody Working on the dual passwords...haha, not sounding too high on the priority list though! Keep an eye out! We'll be down the Pacific Coast again in 2009, AND RIDING ACROSS EUROPE on our new 2009 route. Anybody up for a bike ride? Cheers! Shawn www.globalafc.org

Thanks everybody Working on the dual passwords...haha, not sounding too high on the priority list though! Shawn Yeah, I hear you. I was hoping that the Kiva staff could see the potential of these hierachical account concepts even more than their new "teams" concept. But I guess not (yet?). Dan
