the group at my school (college) that i helped form has raised a decent amount of money and is finally ready to begin loaning.

i guess i still don't understand how forming a group works. i have an account at Kiva.org, on the kiva pedia, and here - but i don't see how i can make it actually a "group" with our name listed under colleges on the pedia.

once that is done, we're good to go. so, help?

The group status is on Kivapedia which anyone can edit or add to!  I have yet to do so, though.  Go ahead and start the lending on Kiva.org.  Then you can add to the Kivapedia.  If you have trouble, go into chat when there are a group of folks there.  Someone should be able to help.  Usually it gets going 5pm Pacific time and sometimes in the morning.  Or you can post request for help, and someone will give clear directions or ask to meet in chat.

Congratulations on your achievements.  Please post more about the organization, how you raised the money and how much you have to invest!
