I have a simple question. I work for two separate organizations (both NPO's) that are working cooperatively to promote the work of Kiva. I was wondering if it might be possible to add us to the the "Kiva Group Lenders" section. I can't seem to find a way to do this. Can anyone give me some guidance? Peace, Bill Kenney

Bill, I suggest you contact Queen of Hearts or Richardf through a PM on here, they are very active and knowledgeable on the edits to the KIVApedia. I looked at your website yesterday: http://onehorizon.org/ and look forward to viewing it in the future when the website is completed. To the KIVApedia genies on here: While on this subject, I think it's important to start distinguishing in the KIVApedia, non-withdrawable accounts.(if we can figure this out) As I think most people will feel more confident when a group/individual is raising funds using KIVA.org that the people contributing will know if these funds can one day be removed by the group and used for an entirely (while useful?) different purpose. This 'stamp of approval' should help a group when raising funds as well. I've sent KIVA.org a request to add a "stamp of approval" onto accounts that have released the right to withdraw from their account. I'm worried that one day someone will take advantage of KIVA. * I'm not pointing fingers at anyone! and will say that due to KSC's nature of offering KIVAsurance to the participants of our group, we will not qualify for such a stamp of approval, as if a member has a loan in default they have the right to withdraw the loss from their account *I only know of one account so far set up this way.

Thanks for the guidance Henry, I will try to make contact with one of them soon. And thanks also for viewing the OHF website. We hope that it was a satisfying experience. We will be revamping the site soon and would appreciate any feedback about your experience. Feel free to e-mail me at: bkenney@ohusa.orgThanks again, Bill

Then again, if your computer savy, I believe the KIVA-p is available for anyone to make changes to. (now that scares even me!) I'm at a loss to figure this out.... OHF President in his photo here: http://onehorizon.org/people.html looks so much like a movie star, but my mind isn't letting me match a name. Anyone else see a link? AND! I forgot to say earlier... to KIVAFriends! I hope other than your website, you'll keep us updated on transactions with KIVA. How you pick your loans, regions you might be focused in, etc, etc.... work you've done in a particular area, share stories and the like.

Henry......thanks for your help in trying to address the Kivapedia question for me......One Horizon is a faith based international foundation focused upon helping people in local contexts work for the common good...we want to try to help move people beyond debates and arguments about ideology etc. and toward cooperative action for the common good.....Kiva is an astounding example of this in our estimation and this is why we are supporting their work and seeking to identify and build other similar intiatives......I guess you could say that we are "venture philanthropists"-anyhow, I found your comment about my picture looking kind of like a "movie star" pretty funny......I have been compared to Tom Cruise literally hundreds of times since the release of Top Gun and was actually mistaken for him one time while on the beach in Santa Barbara, California........maybe that is what you're thinking about?......anyhow, thanks again

'cause i'm curious!' Your site and you mention "faith based". To me this means, there is a religous connection - but I can't figure out from your site which religous organization you are or might be affiliated with. Do I have the term Faith Based confused?
