Very proud to be involved in micro-financing

I have been "giving" Kiva loans as birthday gifts for my children (they choose the recipient), as thank you gifts to friends. I send them an e-mail about the gift, and a link to my Kiva Lender Page and the Recipient's page.

I keep track of which loan was given in honour of whom in my own spreadsheet. That way on repayment I can "reinvest" the funds in another loan and inform the person in whose honour I made the initial loan.

I suggest adding a free-form note area for each loan, stored as part of the lender's account and accessible only by the member, for this or any other personal information referring to the loan to be recorded. It would then be nice if part of the note area can be a "dedication" which could be chosen to be shown on the lenders home page beside the loan in question.
