Trouble Checking Out

I am paying with my credit card and had no trouble lending $775. I went back a few minutes later to lend again and was told that my credit would not work and I needed to use a different one. Setting up PayPal is impossible at the moment because my friend has the check and tax exempt forms needed to create a business account. I know I am entering the numbers correctly...any suggestions?
