Matt Flannery, Kiva co-founder and CEO, speaking at the Google Euro Zeitgeist event in London, April 2008. in a panel discussion called "Meet the Trailblazers" with other "Web 2.0" luminaries.

It's nearly 36 minutes long, so if you don't want to watch the whole thing, after Matt introduces himself near the beginning, fast forward to about 19:30 where he begins his microfinance and Kiva 101 presentation, and talks for about 5 minutes in all.  He's also briefly involved at around 33:00 answering a question about Kiva's presence in South America.

interesting, seemed like Matt tried to pick up an accent for a little while...

OK...my gripe, cause I got one always!  If I were in the audience and not familiar with KIVA.org and listened to this, I'd think from what was said that KIVA offers NO-Interest loans to the individuals needing them.

there, got my gripe out before 6:30 a.m.  - going to be a great day now! Cheesy
