OK...I am getting an adjusted priority list, so as soon as we get a picture (please) of the Mozambique Wheelchair, I will just go ahead and round up.  THere are so many challenges, and I just cannot compete with talking to cyber monkeys.

Once my summer wraps up, Rick (PEI Rick) and I will have a summary of partner attributes we are working on which will be posted.

I think the calendar will be starting up within the next six weeks as well.  Hopefully that will keep us all out of trouble!

I have wanted to make my final challenge loan, and I decided to go for one near extinction.  But each time a day or two would pass, and the loan would fund.  This time I had two options I had narrowed down to, and I let KivaFriends tell me which I should go for.  They were Peru and Bolivia group loans.  Peru is a tiny bit older (both have two days left).  There were more KF members on Peru for this evening when it was my cutoff, so Peru it is!

This is a six month loan without any mention of guinea pigs or small animals.  Perhaps someone has some credit and would like to join...

OK.  I have really appreciated Denysse from Fundacion in Paraguay coming into chat recently.  She has answered our questions and made herself available in a way I haven't seen partner liaisons to Kiva be.  The best way I can think of encouraging such positive and open outreach is to take special consideration of the loans in Paraguay.  There is only one partner in Paraguay, so it is easy.  Asuncion is a five star organization which has group loans for only four months.  Individual loans vary, but are longer.  So there can be something for everyone.  With over forty loans currently listed, and eight (8!!!!) loans with only two days left, there is a need.

I consider this a way to say thank you to Denysse for her time, effort and openess with us.  If you have Kiva credit, just consider it.  I have some coming due Aug 26 and 29, and both of those are held for my thank you.

Paraguay is one of two landlocked countries in South America.  With less than rich neighbors, this geographic aspect makes exports more challenging and imports more expensive.

Thank you, Denysse

Colette

It was very considerate of her to spend time with us like that. Great idea, Colette. I'm in on these two near to expiring loans:

Dominga Portillo

Stella Villalba

Thanks for suggesting this,

Hi Denysse,

thanks so much for your participation here and for all your efforts.

From my point of view:

A report in Spanish is much better than no report at all (because I will understand some things, and can also use an online dictionary or even translator - though their results are usually pretty bad), but an English report would be even better... (assuming you don't consider German  Wink ).

So the question IMHO is really: Would the necessity of translating make you post less reports or cost you time that you need for other tasks? Then by any means post them in Spanish (and maybe one nice final update in English? Embarrassed).

Best wishes,
Wolfgang.

Denysse,

I am not sure what is in the reports, so the only questions I have are:

1.  Is it cumbersome for you to do or such volume that it is a size issue on here
2.  Is there any confidential information which needs to be filtered for clients or Fundacion?

Denysse was in chat this morning and I'm pretty sure that she means her journal updates.

As Steven says - Necesitamos practicar nuestro español más Yes  Denysse you are so great for participating here. By all means - you post whatever works for you. Another Partner posts in French which I understand none of...but I know how to go to BabelFish (translation  site) and get most if it.
