The portfolio said the lady was making a loan to buy more birds then why they took picture of her with her cows? Hmmm!

I saw that, too, ngungo, and avoided the loan for that reason.

"Translated from Vietnamese by Khang Ho-Si, Kiva volunteer."

Khang -

If this is your translation on this loan, I'd just like to say "excellent job" both to you and TYM, the Field Partner, for an engaging loan write-up that gives clear information about the borrower, her business history, and the reason she needs the loan.   If only all loan write-ups were this good - it's easy to think of some Kiva Field Partners who could learn some important lessons from this.

Hi Peter,
Thanks very much for the compliment.
That one was the toughest one I've done so far. Hope that I made it clear enough the part about the "land exchange program". Thumb up to TYM as well as they provide detailed information about the entrepreneur.

That page is in Vietnamese and belongs to a Vietnamese writers' group, http://tetet.net/tt/nha/
It's used to be readable then Kiva somehow messed up. Complains were filed, no response from Kiva.

Hello Everyone --

I just wanted to let everyone know that a new loan from Fund for Thanh Hoa Poor Women has just been posted which I have made a loan to.  Would l like to encourage everyone to consider lending to the group of 3 women that are using the loans to help their livestock & agriculture business (http://www.kiva.org/app.php?page=businesses&action=about&id=122905).

Thanks!
