This one is down to its last $25 or $50, and seems to be basketed.

Lots of good action today.

I heard from contactus today that they have been considering changing the default sort to Old to New for some time. No sense of when or if that will happen. There seems to be a division of opinion on the matter. I made the best pitch I could to make the change.

Now, to document the loans showing 1 day left as I am about to sleep (to make it easier for anyone to check later to see if they have been funded)...

Walter Danilo Lazo Sobalvarro requires $425
EL TRAPICHE Group requires $2975
25th of May Group requires $2075
EL FUTURO Group requires $1750
8 DE SEPTIEMBE Group requires $1825
16 DE MAYO Group requires $2325

6 loans needing $11375 to be funded. Piece of cake!

Wow, must have been a busy night!  Shocked We are down now to "only" 39 loans that are in danger  Thumbs Up (btw, to make following this number easier for people who can unfortunately not use Ian's sheet, this is the loan I believe is the first to be "save" as it will expire after or while we get the next repayments: CARMELITAS group.

So far with the good news. The not so good news is that today will be a really hard day with 5 big loans from Bolivia who have only 1 day left and are funded so far only between 28 and 41%.

Come on, kiva cavalry! I know we can make this! Clapping

Only 32 in the red now.

And down now to 37 in danger in total before the next repayment day.  Smiley

I have sent some minutes ago another suggestion to contact us in hope this will help to ease the problem: "How about making the featured entrepreneur on the kiva homepage at least during the next days always one of the old red loans? Not that I do not like the lady from Tajikistan who has been there during the last days, but I think there are others who need help atm more urgently."

Has anyone else noticed that it seems the "basketing" problem has essentially disappeared?

I doubt that Kiva would ever acknowledge that there was a problem or that they took care of the problem, but I'm glad to see it go away.

I really believe Kiva Friends made a difference! Give Rose

Unfortunately, I am out of cash until the 15th (still struggling to pay for an unexpected car repair this month).  Good luck to everyone else and soldier on!

And continue to do so. The Late Loaning Lenders group is on 21 loans, 12 of which have been funded. And I see it has just attracted two more members, who appear to be from outside the registered KF community. So others are clearly sharing the same concern, which is all to the good.  Thumbs Up
