Parvis is funded.

Next one is Reina De La Paz Group with $500 to fund and 12 hours to do it.

P.S.  $4,275 to be funded within the next 24 hours.

The loan for the Reina De La Paz Group is also raised now!!!  Yahoo!

The next in the row is the Las Magnificas Group with $550 needed during the next 8 hours.

Btw: The total number of loans in danger is now down to 23.  Smiley

Great news!

It's gratifying to look at the LLL stats, too. After 5 days in existence, it has attracted 26 members, and made 65 loans to 28 entrepreneurs, 24 of which are now funded rather than expired. Obviously that has been done in partnership with a large number of people who are not members of the team, and it represents perhaps 10% or so of the total capital raised for these loans in these few days, but it speaks to the dedication and generosity of many people who are prepared to make a difference in the world. Cool

I have a question:

These loans that are at risk, where the money has already been disbursed .... what really happens if they are not raised?  Anybody know? (Is it just the MFI coffers that suffer?)

Short answer: yes. The individuals or groups generally already have their money (though someone pointed out a few days ago that some loans are due to be disbursed in the future). So the real-world problem with a loan not being funded is that the MFI doesn't get that reinfusion of cash to make the next loan.
