Hi Ladies,

Thought I'd start a thread for some girl-chat here in the lounge! Smiley

I'll start it off with a question that is, of earth-shattering importance... Wink and has been really puzzling me...

I have a pair of ladies dress pants, these pants have a crease down the center of each leg. Very sharp! But, when I wash them, and hang them to dry... the crease magically comes back!! How!?! HOW??? I must know the secret of the eternal crease!  *laughs* Does anyone know why this crease doesn't get washed out? I'm amazed by it.

Sherri, Maybe the method used is similar to one of these:

http://cleaning.tips.net/Pages/T0203_How_to_Iron_a_Permanent_Crease.html

Or, you can ask how it's done at the dry cleaners  Smiley

yeah, I'm going to mess this thread up every time!  Shocked  Imagine a thread for just guy chat!  Cool  Laugh

I knew women being able to vote was going to mess up everything!   Tongue

(now, if you reply with: how dare he, or he can't be serious.....   you just don't know me!) Laugh

ok...ok.....  (you know I don't like being excluded!)

however, in answer to the earth shattering issue regarding the crease in the pants....

some ladies pants and even some mens, have a fiber in them created just for creases.  Typically this fiber is made from recycled hair pins shredded then soaked in some finger nail polish remover solution to remove excess hairspray ( Laugh ).  After that it's incorporated perfectly into the fabric.  This you might think is a tedious thing, and your right, but guess what....  a guy thought it up!      Some of the more expensive fabrics use the special silk created by this little booger!
