I too was having problems with the home page in Firefox yesterday, but after a few refreshes, it was clear Kiva was still tweaking their code for it as the problems cleared right up and the home page started working very well for me.

Perhaps try it again today making sure you get a good refresh...

I suspect you will need Javascript enabled in your browser to see this new function.

Thanks all, glad you liked the change.

Christopher, can you provide any details about your browser setup that would help us to figure out what's going on? (version, os, etc). Either here, or if you can shoot an email to kivacontactus. Thanks

Hi Roma,

Thanks for looking in on us.  One request I had: would it be possible for Kiva to put loans on the home page with a different criteria than most popular?  We were chatting about this in another thread and were thinking that  a random mix that included the oldest loans might be nicer.

Just a thought,

"Our daughters can contribute just as much to society as our sons, and our common prosperity will be advanced by allowing all humanity - men and women - to reach their full potential. I do not believe that women must make the same choices as men in order to be equal, and I respect those women who choose to live their lives in traditional roles. But it should be their choice. That is why the United States will partner with any Muslim-majority country to support expanded literacy for girls, and to help young women pursue employment through micro-financing that helps people live their dreams." - President Barack Obama, June 4, 2009
