I know when I am feeling like I have more than enough money I'm all the more likely to write a check out to my favorite charity. So I was thinking, what if I would give a free copy of "Don't Stress~Manifest: 21 Truths to Set you Financially Free" to anyone who who lends Kiva a certain amount of money.....lets say the average loan is $100, this could provide a little incentive, like anyone who loans $200 (or $500 annually) would get a complimentary copy of the book. This way the people who are already into giving back will be supported in their capacity to create more abundance which would inevitably come back to Kiva and other worthwhile causes.
What do you think?

I am attaching the intro and a sample chapter so you can get a feel for it. I think its really in alignment with  Kiva's intentions.

I think thats a good idea Barbara.  I would look more deeply into it by contacting Kiva, and seeing if its something they can get behind in a greater capacity.  I hate to term it like this but maybe a "prize" of sorts for lenders reaching particular lending increments of 100, 200, 500, 1000, 2000 loans, etc....though the lending achievements of the lenders would not be outwardly advertised in any way.

I find not direction in the readings of those with whom my eccentricities are similar, but rather validation.

My only solace is that I find a peaceful place where I might be resigned to my depriving loneliness.

Thank you Steve
I have contacted Kiva directly too to see what they think and am looking forward to the response.
I like the incremental ideal too since eventually I will have other support materials like coffee mugs and t shirts and audio.
I like the idea of the potential ripple effect of this....

Im thinking they might not like the idea of it only because the emphasis is on being rewarded for lending, outside of the personal satisfaction of lending itself.  Just my opinion but it might be more down their alley if it were Kiva merchandise that was distributed, such as Kiva mugs, pencils, t shirts, etc.  Then it becomes more of a "thank you from Kiva" rather than being seen by some as a "reward from Kiva" which only comes to the highest lenders.  That might turn some people off, but maybe its just me.

If you like the Kiva merchandise route, maybe you can work out a deal or team up with kivastore.com and/or Kiva's official online store, to purchase items in bulk and help head up the distribution of it all when notified by Kiva that certain increments are met by specific lenders.
