Good news!!! Rustam was funded!!!   Yahoo!
Thanks to a lot of Kiva Friends!!

Great for Rustam! And congratulations to Michael and all KFs on board!

So maybe now it's time for

Name:Miguel Arce
Location:  San Lorenzo, Paraguay

6 days to go and $650 still needed!

11-months loan with 5-star Fundación Paraguaya.

Miguel Arce is 43-year-old man married to Modesta Narváez. The couple has two young sons. He owns a despensa (grocery store) located in their house. In rural areas in Paraguay, the despensas could be considered as a meeting point, where people not only buy products but also gather and gossip. That is why is despensas are a very profitable business in those areas.

Miguel always tries to offer a wide variety and quantity of products for a lower price. After a lot of effort he bought a car, which allowed him to start a delivery service. He dreams of having an autoservice store and competing with the big supermarkets.

The money provided by the credit will be used for the purchase of meat, bread, milk, cheese, and other items.

Any takers?

Best wishes,
Wolfgang.

PS: And as I am feeling a little adventurous, tonight, I will make this a Loan Challenge:  the n-th KF (with KF displayed on the loan page - as usual) who joins this loan from now on (n being a number between 1 and 10, picked by me now and to be disclosed once the loan is fully funded) can choose a loan towards which I will then lend $ 25 [no home construction/personal use, max. 12 months]. Deal?

Kivafriends.org scrambled and respelled is "Risk And Forgive."  Of course, it also can be respelled "Asked For Virgin" and "Darer of Vikings" and even "Vinegar For Kids" but those are a lot less interesting.

# 1 = DanaLi
# 2 = Michael and Kim
# 3 = Good Dogg
# 4 = Scott
# 5 = Ann

Thank You Thank You Thank You on behalf of Miguel Arce whose loan was finally funded a few hours ago.

What a shame the lucky number was 6!  Cheesy

No, no, I am just kidding... It was in fact 4, so Scott is the WINNER!

I also decided to award an additional prize to DanaLi for getting it all started.

Thus, Scott and DanaLi, please let me know (here or in a PM) which loans (1 each) you want me to help funding. Only conditions: no personal use/home construction, max. 12 months, and I am not already a lender to this loan.

Take care,
Wolfgang.
