Not having a great place to put this, I am starting a new thread for this news and am fine if it disappears into the pile rapidly.

I received an email from Paypal today about the Mama Mark Fund account, which we have been using as a collection point for several fund-raisers and which email I am happy to quote here.

Thank you for providing the requested documents.  Your information has been
reviewed, and we were able to confirm your status as a fundraiser on behalf
of Ebony Foundation-Kenya.  The limitation on your account has been lifted.
Access to your account has been fully restored.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, and wish you continued
success on PayPal.

I am fine with Paypal assuming the account is for fund-raising for Eb-F when of course we know it's more than that.  I cannot guarantee I'll be willing to use it for future fundraising drives, but at least it's finally out of the holding pattern it had been in since March 2008.

There was an unclaimed $25 contribution to that account which I will now start the process of reclaiming, and will turn it into a GC for the Mark Agwonah Fund.  I'll post there once the credit is available for loaning.

What a relief, finally.

--Diane.

Good news Diane,
I think it wise to get the funds ($25) out of there with all deliberate speed & convert them into a GC.
That way there is "No Worries" as Nat likes to say.

Now run Diane, run as fast as you can!
