I have a friend and potential-Kiva entrepreneur in Nairobi, Kenya, who I want to connect with a Kiva.  How do I do this?

Thanks, Victoria

Victoria,

first of all Welcome here on KF.

Then, as far as I know there is no direct way for an entrepreneur to turn to Kiva for funding. Your friend will have to contact a local MFI in Kenya co-operating with Kiva - that would be:

* OI-WEDCO (http://www.kiva.org/about/aboutPartner?id=92)
* Action Now: Kenya (http://www.kiva.org/about/aboutPartner?id=36)
* Ebony Foundation (http://www.kiva.org/about/aboutPartner?id=25 - though their cooperation with Kiva seems to be "paused")
* People Microcredit Investment Bureau (http://www.kiva.org/about/aboutPartner?id=27 - again "paused")
* Kisumu Medical & Education Trust (http://www.kiva.org/about/aboutPartner?id=24)

You can find more information on how Kiva works and on their Field Partners in the "Help Center" on kiva.org.

Best wishes,
Wolfgang.
