I'm just sorry our UU Kiva coffee can group already picked our next loan.

On the other hand, if I pre-pay a couple of weeks worth...

And if I go put KF on the picture thingy (that is a technical term)....

Hmmm.

Yep, count the Eastport UUs in. I've got some fixing up to do now.

That'll add 2 more, once I put my own in.
Brings us to twelve so far.

Just need 21 more, at least.

Hmph.

SS and I took a leisurely walk, went downtown, visited with about a dozen folks
along the way, stopped in at the local pizza parlor to eat tostadas (SS got chicken,
I got carnitas) for lunch, strolled home. And, after all that time, I log back
on to the Kanahuara Group page and see that there has been NO ACTION
on Scott's KF Record Breaking Project.

What's that I hear?
Could that be Lily starting to whimper?
Oh, the sounds of an infant's crying can be so heartbreaking.
How can you bear to hear it?

Wonder what would make little Lily happy.....

Hmmm. Wonder what it could be.... Got any ideas, anyone?
Want to make a baby girl smile again?

No worries, Ann. We've got plenty of time. Lily's record breaking loan happened in a mere two days but her loan was about $1K smaller than this one. We've got 15 days left and we can use them all if we need to.

-Scott

p.s. Who realizes that he wins either way - either Lily's loan stands or this one beats it!

All right Joan! A new KF'er and already jumping into the fray.

(Oh, and thanks for the tip on yesterday's Morning Edition piece on our author friend here in Eastport. SS and I went to the hardware store today to seek an autograph from one of the sound-bite sources. Her boss was standing around, moping. "They interviewed me, too," he said, "but they didn't use a word *I* said..." Poor dear. Ha. Anyway, we never would've known about it but for you.)

Karen! Glad to have you aboard. (I'm feeling like the Good Shop Scott's activities director, here)

What is it now, 14 I think. Cool. In just 19 more KF'er loans, we can all go back to bed...

Join at least 14 other Kivafriends already participating in this loan,
in Scott's effort to gather enough Kivafriends break the previous record for the number of Kivafriends on a loan,
which was an effort in the name of Lily, his beautiful baby daughter.

...grab onto this before it falls from view again...
