Just 64 to go to break the record.

. . . And look who's joined us!

So, the revered broadcaster has evidently had a change of heart since November last year, when her blog post in response to the NYT "revelations" suggested she had irrevocably fallen out of love with Kiva (the URL tells the story...):
http://gretawire.blogs.foxnews.com/another-big-fat-lie/

which provoked some comment here at KF, from around here.

I wonder what made her change her mind?

24 so far and one still listed for Kivabank.org.  At what time will the snapshot for the record be taken?  Right after the loan is fully funded?

Maybe David can make a switch for a brief moment.  Grin

In the past I've waited a day for stragglers to add KivaFriends.org to their lender avatar so I assume about the same this time as well.

Reminder to everyone, the loan is here:  http://www.kiva.org/lend/206884

And in order to count towards the record, you need to add "kivafriends.org" to your lender icon so it shows up on the loan page, at least until the official snapshot is taken after the loan is fully funded.

Looking good so far!

Hi all,

So you add "kivafriends.org" to the "city" field on your lender page; and you make a loan. That's it?

Hi Petra,

Yep, that is it!  I can see you on the lender list with the kivafriends.org under your icon so you are in!

I'm in.

Just to clarify, the loan selected does have currency exchange loss "covered" not just a history of no loss (yet).

Be careful to only mess with "My Lender Page" address, leaving your mailing address in My Account for real.

Otherwise Kiva might inadvertently send your escheating funds to the town or state kivafriends.org.   Smiley
