I have an Amazon.com credit card which means that I get these $25 gift certificates all the time based on how much I use my credit card - which is basically for EVERYTHING (paid off monthly, of course). I'm quite Amazon'ed out lately... Is there anyone willing to trade a $25 Amazon.com gift certificate for a $25 Kiva gift certificate (I'm doing face value trade only)? I have three of these. Since I'm the US, you probably should be too. They are as good as cash and while they used to have a one year expiration date (I just got them in the mail this week), Amazon has removed the expiration dates (probably in accordance with California law) on this last batch. Basically, all I need to give you is the code off the certificates which you plug in at check-out time.

Anyway, if anyone is willing to do a trade for me, much appreciated, and if not, well, eventually, I'm sure I'll find something over there too.

Thanks,

-Scott

Scott told me one has to be US to put it into use so someone else have to chip in.

Are you sure, Scott?

I order from amazon.com occasionally (besides amazon.de and amazon.co.uk), why couldn't I (and then Dagfinn, too) use a gift certificate? Is it an explicit limitation - like: "US residents only"?

Best wishes,
Wolfgang.

Nope, I am most definitely not sure. So, if you or Dagfinn (or anyone else) are willing to give it a try, I'll gaurantee it. If it doesn't work and you've already given me a Kiva GC, I'll just give you a Kiva GC back since the Amazon GC code will still be valid.

Thanks a ton,

-Scott

p.s. No, there is nothing in the fine print on these 'Amazon Reward Certificates' that indicates they are US only.

So, if you or Dagfinn (or anyone else) are willing to give it a try, I'll guarantee it.

Thanks, Scott, but for the moment I will give it a miss. Due to the shipping costs to Germany and possibly import taxes the total rates are only rarely better than on amazon.de/co.uk - once I will find something, though, I will PM you and see if an amazon.com-GC is still available for trade.

But maybe Dagfinn will give it a try?

Take care,
Wolfgang.

I've got 4 new Amazon GCs and am looking to trade for Kiva GCs. If anyone is interested in helping me out, please PM me.

Thank you,
