Hi - I've just joined this forum but have not a clue how to upload a photo or even to post a message or write an "introduction" or anything at all technical.  Have a lot of KIVA loans (obsessive like many of you) but am totally new to blogging.  How can I get an introduction into the right topic area?  How do I upload a photo? Please assume that I know nothing at all about using a computer (basically true), e.g., do I simply drag a photo from my desktop... or do I "save as" and somehow move it to the site... You get the picture of my level of ignorance, I suspect.  Please help.  Wood Fairy Glenda

  don't worry if you put something in the wrong place, Joe is great about moving it.
And I've seen him move his own posts, so I guess that means there isn't a fixed, perfect place for everything.

Don't worry Glenda.  Your heart is in the right place, so you'll do fine.  Just make sure your photo is in jpg format.  You do this when you save your photo and it asks you how you want it saved.  Choose the JPG or JPEG format.  This will enable you to upload it to other sites.  FYI your picture came out just fine, and you are looking good!

I have just joined Kiva and think that I too will be 'hooked'. I can't figure out the journal section of the kiva.org website. Is there a way to search it?

Shirley, all I know about the Kiva journal pages is that a new page is loaded as number one. So every older page is then "pushed" down the numerical line. I had tried to mark a page and it wasn't there when I went back.
