A while ago I met a friend in Fairyland on Facebook and she had started a new Kiva Team called Friends of Fairyland

Samantha is from Christchurch New Zealand and today she posted this on my garden wall in Fairyland so I wanted to share how she is spreading the Kiva love...

Hi everybody.

I've got a day off work today to try to recuperate a bit from the earthquake. We were allowed back into our home today and we've managed to save most of our things, so that is good.

The sun is shining today in Christchurch. And the dust is blowing about. It is lovely to see the sun, but our thoughts are with those who have lost loved ones and with the family of our housemate who was killed in the CBD.

Christchurch will rebuild. And time will heal a lot of things. But I will never forget the things I have seen... and the people who have touched my heart.

In the midst of all this, there are still others who need our help. I have spent my birthday money on 2 new kiva loans. If anybody wants to join us, we are Friends of Fairyland. www.kiva.org/team/fairyland

Samantha and Xylix.
