2009 Calendar - 12 or 13 months?

If you are inclined to vote for the 12 month option, please add a suggestion as to what you would like the 2 'info' pages to be used for?

Suggestions so far include: information about Kiva, Kivafriends, Microfinance, Lender profiles, special projects (like Regina's wheelchair).

The 2 pages must be contiguous but could be either the centerfold pages or the inside back cover & its facing page.

In 2008 the only area for 'info' (other than information about highlighted entrepreneurs) was a column on the back cover - see attached.

Most people have plenty of new calendars to use and replace the old one (2008) a good month or two before the following year calendar is even put into use (Jan 2009).  Makes the 13th month somewhat obsolete.  We were extremely pressed for space last year on the back cover--not to mention time, which actually forced the 13 page concept--and when I weigh the benefits of a 13th month or a couple of pages produced with quality graphics, layout, and information, its not much of a vote for me.  An extra month wont make a 13 month calendar much more than a 12 month calendar, so why not put the space to more productive and beneficial use?

Does anyone feel like locating the discussion from last year's calendar that pertains to arguments for an information or project section?  I recall a few more ideas than the current recommendations, but I dread sifting through the 70 or so pages of posts.

Edit:  When it comes down to it, we will end up having two featured entrepreneurs for the same month of January in two separate calendars--assuming we complete a calendar each following year.  There will be Jan 2009 from the 2008 calendar and Jan 2009 from the 2009 calendar.  My guess is that the entrepreneur for the Jan 2009 month from the 2008 calendar will be highly overlooked at the turn of the year when everyone is eager to post up their brand new Kiva calendars.

I agree with Steve.  If I get a 13 month calendar I change it at the start of the new year (January).

Additionally, I don't think people are reading and voting correctly.  The general discussions I have had with KF members is that MOST wanted the extra pages for highlighting the special projects and events KF does and has.  I think some who are voting for the 13 month calendar think they are voting for the extra pages even though that is now what it says in the poll.
