Name: Elias Antonio Murillos
Location: Honduras
Notes: My wife and I have worked grinding corn for eight years. This business has allowed me to support our family and put our kids through school. At the moment we need to replace some of the parts of the machinery for our business so we can continue giving our clients good service.

Name: Jose Gimenez
Location: Honduras
Notes: I am a corn miller. I've owned my business for 3 years, and it is going very well because in order to make tortillas, one first has to grind the corn to produce dough. Tortillas are a basic food staple in our community and business is going well. At this moment I need to perform maintenance on the motor which forms the core of my business.

Name: DirmindaSorto
Location: Honduras
Notes: I am the owner of a mill that grinds corn for household production and consumption of tortillas. I’ve had my mill for the past 13 years, and since it’s the only mill in my community I have a lot of clients, therefore it has deteriorated. The mill is one of the primary income sources of my family. I would like a credit in order to buy an electric mill and be able to continue with my business

Friends,
Have any of you seen the Kickstart water pump in a Kiva loan? It looks like a real opportunity to combine forces for the agricultural loans. I have seen loans for water distribution...
They have local offices in some of Kiva countries - Mali, Kenya, Tanzania. I wonder if there is opportunity for synergy / promotions between the two organizations.
Thoughts? Ideas?

Name: Kiril Radev
Location: Bulgaria
Notes: Kiril Radev is 58 years old man . . . . With his own resources he managed to buy a machine for carpet and woolen yam production on very low price, but now to start the real business he needs additional funding of 2 000 USD to buy wool and to start to card it and after that to sell it. The production of carded wool and carded woolen carpets is very typical for the region of Bulgaria.
