  Using Tables to Format Entrepreneur Photos

The following code can be used to format Kiva Entrepreneur profiles.  Replace each "ADD ... URL HERE" with the address of an image or page.  Replace each "ADD ... HERE" with what you want to say.  Pick and choose what you want to include. Take out a row by deleting any "tr".."/tr" line.  Add more with the "Insert Table", "Insert Table Row" and "Insert Table Column buttons."  The basics of how things will look are shown below the code.  An example is given as well.

Adding KivaFriends.org To Your Lender Avatar

Some members of Kiva Friends help promote this site by adding KivaFriends.org to their Kiva Lender Page, such that it also appears under their Avatar (image) on each Kiva Entrepreneur Profile Page they support. For example, this is what it looks like for a few Kiva Friends who participated in the 2008 KivaFriends Record Breaking Loan.



How to add KivaFriends.org to your Kiva Lender Avatar:

• Go to your Kiva My Account page.
• Enter "http://KivaFriends.org" (without the quotation marks) in the City field.
  
• Add your city to what you have in the State/Province field.
  
• Click on the "Save New Personal Info" button at the bottom of the page and you are all set to go!

Sizing Images
Images from other web pages can be added to discussions by using image codes.  Because these images can come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, e.g., too big or mismatches, the height or width of these images also can be set to fit the space or group images.

Now the picture is transformed into a link, that sends you to that entrepreneur's page, when you click on it.

To obtain the picture URL-address:

Rightclick the picture,
choose properties in the popup-menu,
highlight the http-address by holding in left mousebutton as you
highlight it by dragging the mouse over it.
When the address is highlighted, hold in Ctrl as you press C
(or rightclick, and choose Copy)

And of course, you paste the URL by placing the cursor, holding in Ctrl as you press V
