Current status of the GHAPE fundraising is $285.00*.  With the matching funds that is a total of $570.00 so far, meaning that we fall short of raising enough funds to cover one desktop computer for GHAPE.  Please consider contributing to this very worthwhile project if you have not already done so!

Thanks much!

-Kerry-

*There are a few people who have indicated a desire to donate but who have not indicated an amount, so their donations are not yet counted in this total.

Colette

A very good question Colette, thanks.  There is no firm timetable at this point. However, it is our goal to have the money arrive in Cameroon before October 8th when the current Kiva Fellow Yuan must leave.  We would like to have him take pictures of the new equipment for us and report on it's arrival before he leaves the country.  Since we are still investigating the best option for the money transfer to them, it is hard to back-date the time for donations to be due at this point.

I am pleased to announce that the new total for fundraising is now $520.00.  This means that with the matching funds, we now have $1,020.00 raised to improve GHAPE's infrastructure!

Thank you all Kiva Friends for your generosity!

Thank you so much to everyone who has contributed so far!!  This means that we are over the halfway point in reaching our goal of providing basic equipment for GHAPE.  Let's keep the momentum going!
