This is where all KSC communications regarding our team will be. However, I can't think of any that will be posted. I would like to thank everyone for joining our team and hope you continue to toss loans our way - especially since we can't seem to get credit for our own!!

There were actually 2 loans put through for KSC that do not have the KSC team logo showing as supporters. I put through the other one and know for a fact it showed up as credited to the KSC team. I have sent an email to Kiva and will post the information I receive in case anyone else is having similar problems. Thanks for noticing this Tatiana! Jane
Good morning Jane, I have logged in to the team account, and both Rwanda loans Nelson Migambi and Claver Ntawubizigira are listed on the team's "loans" page. I suspect that Ann is correct, and there is only room on the lender page for five teams, and KSC's team happened to get knocked off the page on these two loans. However, the loans were added to the team. -Kerry-

This is where all KSC communications regarding our team will be. However, I can't think of any that will be posted. Well, I take it back. After really looking around at the many many teams in the KIVA community - some making me laugh, some making me go "for real?" - I've arrived here. Here to say Thank You! Thank you to the many KIVAn's who have tossed loans to the KSC Team. Thank you to KF's and Joe who have allowed us to post our progress notes on KF. Thank you to the shoppers who support KSC and to the KF's who have and are helping with running KSC. What I once thought would raise a few hundred dollars for kiva loans has now reached: $2,374.00 and we have 132 members. KSC has made 141 loans. Thank you from KSC! Henry KSC - audited by the company of Moe, Larry, and Curly - the US Government will not have to step in and cover any of our funds.

KSC Members, this is just something to think about.... (Remember to purchase through your IGive account 14%? to KSC) Magazines.com (one of the more generous IGive companys) has created this: http://www.magazines.com/help/subs4soldiers http://www.subs4soldiers.com/?afd_number=7514&ed_rid=QM54U6-IYQT8-XT68BG-IBDM3-OR25O-v1&ed_mid=119633The Subscriptions for Soldiers program allows you to show your support for our troops by donating a magazine subscription to our deserving overseas active duty servicemen and women. We have gathered thousands of requests for magazine subscriptions from our soldiers and now we need your help! For only $10, you can send a subscription to a soldier you know, or we can match you to one of the thousands of service members in our database. Benefits of the program: Opportunity for you to show Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines how much you care. Soldiers get their favorite magazines -- not outdated issues or "whatever's left!" Your Gift Subscription is vastly discounted. Serving America, Far From Home... Members of America's armed forces are serving around the world in places like Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Korea. Far from family and friends, these dedicated men and women have limited access to the everyday comforts of being “back home.” Here’s your chance to make a difference! Show America’s Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines how much you personally appreciate their service and sacrifice.

They currently show over 6,800 subscription requests in this program. I did my little bit to help bring that number down, I hope others will as well. -Kerry-

Update on Subscriptions for Soldiers program: (USA) As of this morning the requests are down from 6,800 to 5,608. So in a mere 9 days, almost 1,200 subscriptions have been ordered for our service personnel. $10 is a very small amount to donate for those serving our country.
Edit: In the spirit of the forum and avoiding direct solicitations I am editing my own post. I have donated and this is my tribute to our personnel in the services. Our contributions through igive also help KSC fund loans. For me it is a win-win situation. Jane
