Okay, so I am not leaving the planet forever, but I am afraid that at some point in the very near future I will have to bug out for a while and I wanted to tell my friends here why, and goodbye for a while, and whatever.

Short version:  The doctors have discovered a large and rather rude friend in my chest (we've named him Gus) and it has to come out.  Soon.  I do not know when due to some other factors, but very soon.  Could be as early as next Friday, more likely the following week or so.  Prognosis, though tentative since they have not biopsied, is probably very good but it's a long road.  So I will not be online once they throw me into the hospital and for whatever period of recovery keeps me from climbing stairs to get to and from the computer.

I may be lurking from time to time up until that point, but not posting.  There's lots to do ahead of time to get everything organized ahead of the trip.  Any of you who want to send lewd pics of yourselves to help speed my recovery feel free.  Okay, maybe not YOU, Henry.

In the meantime, you kids behave yourselves, and know that I am still here in spirit.

See you all in a few months, maybe sooner.

Peace, out.

Kivafriends.org scrambled and respelled is "Risk And Forgive."  Of course, it also can be respelled "Asked For Virgin" and "Darer of Vikings" and even "Vinegar For Kids" but those are a lot less interesting.

Sometimes life takes sudden turns..
Without using it's turn signal.
Hang on and hang in there.
And tell Gus to Get Lost!
