RichardF, It think your browser has javascript disabled. Try to enable javascript On IE: Tools->Internet options->Security->Custom level. Scroll down to the "Scripting" section, select "enable" for "Active scripting"
That should do K.

Thanks khan, My active scripting was enabled. Whatever Jeremy did seems to have done the trick (except for that "Loan already funded" thing, of course).

Anyone near to SF with burning questions about technical issues with the kiva.org website maybe has the opportunity to spend a couple of hours getting some well-informed answers, as well as free beer and snacks, at... Kiva Devs Open Happy Hour Date: Thursday, September 25 Time: 06:30 PM to 08:30 PM Organizer: Kiva Cost: Absolutely Free Location: Kiva Offices 3180 18th Street Suite 201 San Francisco, CA http://sf.garysguide.org/events/2191983/kiva-devs-open-happy-hour-They're probably pitching that at fellow tech industry people, considering where it's posted ("Garysguide.org is the #1 Events Calendar for Tech & New Media professionals, listing every event in every major tech hub in the country"). But I can think of at least two technically clued-in KF in the SF/Bay area to whom that might be of interest (If anyone does go, please ask why the Kiva site seems to be running as freely as molasses these days... I think I have the "oops" page off by heart now)

There are 2 loans, that I'm aware of, that are sitting on Kiva without a Donate button on their page. They appear to have been posted 2 days ago, have no lenders and no way to lend.
There may be more; I don't check all the loans.
My point is, I don't see anywhere to notify Kiva when there is a technical problem. I find having to come to this page for that type of purpose rather strange but even after coming to this site, I don't see a topic related to technical problems or feedback. If one exists, it should be prominently displayed as I would not be inclined to page through pages and pages of topics just to notify Kiva of a problem on their website.
So, I'm notifying Kiva of a problem of which they're probably aware, (don't know, there's not topic for this), and suggesting that technical/web page problems have a prominently displayed topic for reporting purposes.
Warm regards, Drea

I mean without the "Lend Now" button, of course.
I hope this helps to clarify.
Thanks again, Drea

Drea, I have already informed Kiva of the three loans in this state. Some Kiva staffers do read the posts here at KivaFriends, but they do not run this site nor do they promise to monitor the forums. Your best bet is to send email to their contact ID, contactus@kiva.orgWhile you will get a canned reply when it's received, and their personalized response may not be very timely (or may not happen at all), all the emails to this address *are* read, and are investigated. Thanks for caring enough to point out this frustrating problem! --Diane.

UPDATE:
I have heard back from Gerard at Kiva, he has forwarded my email to the technical staff to get these loans fixed.

Thanks Diane - You've been very helpful and I will keep the contactus@kiva.org for future issues. If you have any way to make suggestions, please pass mine along. I see we've been moved away from the suggestion thread. Warm regards, Drea

Ah, I saw the 'no lending button issue' too and wrote to contactus without checking here first. What was I thinking? I also had an odd double glitch yesterday with Kiva, did a loan in the morning, got the receipt and no loan. I quickly added the loan into my basket when I noticed it didn't show up (Haiti, didn't want to miss it) in my portfolio. I waited all day but never heard from Kiva, so decided to do the loan again since it never dropped out of my basket. Second time I got the loan, but no receipt. The first transaction was never deducted from my account, but cash was added in as 'credit'. The second transaction paid for it. I wrote to contactus both in the morning and the evening with the added twist, and have not heard back as yet. Truly a weird double glitch, it fixed itself in essence, but the cause still needs addressed.
